TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Class bookings & cancellation policy

Bookings are made on a first come, first serve basis upon receipt of full payment.

Minimum number of participants required for an open Cook and Dine class is 2.

Changes to bookings, such as switching dates, may be made up to 10 days prior to the date of the class. To notify us of such a request please email info@salteldhus.is. Salt Eldhús cooking classes are always non-refundable.

If you´ve booked a cooking class and then find you are unable to attend, you´re welcome to send someone else in your place.  To notify us please email info@salteldhus.is.

No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations or no-shows. These rules apply equally to gift voucher bookings.

For private classes and for any kind of tailor made classes, booked via email with the help of our sales team, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm the booking. The balance is due 10 days before the event.

Occasionally, Salt Eldhús will have to reschedule or cancel a class. In these situations, we will contact you directly at the phone number or email address you have provided, and reschedule or offer a full refund.

Salt Eldhús reserves the right to alter or amend classes without prior notification or consultation.

Ingredients, utensils, knives, equipment and aprons are provided for all classes.

Liability waiver

By registering for a class at Salt Eldhús, the guest agrees to the subsequent policies. Salt Eldhús is not liable for the following:

Any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property and/or equipment

Any bodily injuries or damages that you may sustain as a result of participating in any class, workshop, or program on Salt Eldhús property.

Privacy policy

At Salt Eldhús, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. Under no circumstances will information be shared to a third party.

Governing law

Salt Eldhús conducts its business in accordance with Icelandic law, including law of sale of services no. 42/2000 and no. 46/2000. Salt Eldhús is domiciled in Reykjavík where the District Court of Reykjavík holds jurisdiction.
